Haylie Butler

Haylie is a native to Jacksonville, FL and attended Sandalwood High School. She began attending Florida State College at Jacksonville while in high school and then proceeded to earn her Associates Degree of Nursing there as well. She is now enrolled in the Bachelor’s of Nursing program at FSCJ and aspires to attend graduate school to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. Her passion to become a nurse started when she became a nanny at 16-years-old and she realized she wanted to help children at a larger capacity. Haylie continued to be a nanny throughout her college career, and still continues to take care of the same children when she can. She values the connections she makes with families and strives to nurture and continue the relationship even as the children grow older and start attending school. Haylie is currently a fertility nurse with a local reproductive endocrinology clinic. She also has pediatric nursing experience from working at a prescribed pediatric extended care clinic, and medical/surgical/telemetry nursing experience as she worked for a year at the Baptist Heart Hospital in Downtown, Jacksonville.

On Haylie’s days off she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. She is currently with her boyfriend of three years and they have plans to get married and have children of their own. One of her favorite places to visit is Colorado and her goal is to move there within the next 2 years.
