Ivonne Nunez

Ivonne is a second career Registered Nurse who received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell in 2012. She later went on to use her Psych degree for a few years after graduating to work within a group home setting for troubled adolescents in the Boston Metro Area. While employed in Boston, she was able to continue working on her career and attended Simmons College, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2017). After obtaining her BSN, she moved to Florida and began her first nursing position at Florida Hospital – East Orlando (Currently, Advent Health) on a Med-Surg Orthopedic Unit. Following her work in the hospital setting, Ivonne was able to use her newly acquired skills to offer her services to fragile, pediatric patients within their homes. She has worked with medically complex and developmentally delayed pediatric patients ages ranging from birth to 21+ years ever since. She continues to be passionate about caring for children of all ages and has always had a special love for providing care to newborn babies and their families. Ivonne loves helping families acclimate to their new/recurring roles as parents and looks forward to being part of this transition for your family. It would be her pleasure to assist with any additional needs that you may have so that you can enjoy this exciting part of your life! During Ivonne’s spare time, she continues to provide care to fragile pediatric patients within the homecare setting. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves to try new things on a regular basis (restaurants, activities, etc.).
