Kym Gillies

Kym is a native Floridian and has loved children her whole life. So much so, that she packed up her things and moved to Haiti to live at an orphanage and work with the children there. Kym saw that too many people were dying from things that were preventable so she decided to come back to the states and go to nursing school. While in school she adopted her one and only son, who is now 15 yrs old. Kym graduated with her Associate of Nursing and initially went to work on an Adult Med-Surg floor, but found her passion working with children in the pediatric Emergency department. She was there for 10 years and is currently working on a Pediatric Med-Surg floor where she takes care of all ages from newborn to 18 yrs. She also works in the NICU when needed. Kym has many certifications including CPEN, PALS, ENPC, BLS, ACLS and TNCC. Kym loves working with babies and is looking forward to caring for yours while you get a good night’s sleep.
